Sights and Sounds of Revival

• Pastor Chris Lockemy of the Baltimore-Epic Church of God reports 203 in attendance on Easter Sunday.  Praise God for this excellent attendance!
• Pastor Jerry Price reports that on Easter Sunday morning, Maranatha Community Church located in Frederick, Maryland set a new attendance record.  In their second service, approximately 1,600 people were present.  BUT, BEST OF ALL, over 200 people rededicated their lives or asked Jesus to be their Lord and Savior for the very first time!  TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY!

News and Views Around the Region

• On Sunday, April 22 Pastors Ivan and Cynthia Ackerman and the  Church of God at Loch Lynn celebrated the dedication of their new 26,000 square foot facilities with over 500 in attendance!  Regional Bishop Ron Martin preached the celebration message and  Cluster Elder, Pastor Emeritus Robert Fletcher led along with Senior Pastors Ivan and Cynthia Ackerman in a special time of dedication.  To God be the glory!

• Betty Rice (College Park Church of God) still recovering from her stroke from a year ago.
• Dan Moore (Owings Mills-Harvest Church of God) recovering from knee replacement surgery and other complications.
• Ron Soulsman (Berlin-Lighthouse COG)  needs continued prayer for his complete recovery (cancer).
• Julie Elder (Lansdowne Worship Center) in March moved to Hong Kong for a year of service and ministry to help smuggle Bibles into China.  They just recently completed a successful two-week trip into China.  A group of 12 came from various parts of the U.S. to carry materials into China...they made 9 border crossings and not one person was stopped by authorities.  Please pray for Julie while away from home for God's protective hand to be upon her.

• Jason and Shannon Matthews (Gateway Ministries) on the birth of their newest addition to the family...adorable little Jonas Jaxn was born on April 5th and weighed 10 lbs and 5 oz and was 22” long.  Mom and Dad are doing fine...grandparents Alan and Janis Greijack are elated!
• Jude and Suzi Nowak (Edgemere Church of God) on the birth of their baby son  on April 10th.  Jared Matthew weighed in at 8 lbs 9 oz and according to his very proud grandparents Howard and Naomi Hancock, their first grandson is beautiful!
