Sights and Sounds of Revival
Pastor Will Ellis of the Woodbine-Redeeming River Church of God reports a great revival with Cluster Elder Robert Fletcher, Sr.  Nightly attendance averaged over 100.  A spirit of revival and excitement continues.  In a recent Sunday morning worship service people throughout the congregation began to spontaneously jump up and declare “I’m healed!”  Many great healings have occurred and recently a 61-yr old lady was saved for the very first time in her life.  To God be the glory!

Pastor Jim Hamby of the Damascus-Lighthouse Ministries Church of God reports a great spirit of revival and growth in the church.  The congregation set a new all time tithe record and morning worship attendance record in April.  Pastor Hamby reports they are expecting even greater things in the coming months.  We rejoice with this pastor and congregation in this great report!

Pastor Kenneth Hill and members of Harvest Temple Church of God are “reaching and reaping the harvest through prayer” in their community.  They recently formed a human fortress of prayer outside the church in Forestville, Md. They prayed towards the North, then the East, turned towards the West and ended filing Southwards in prayer. Neighbors began to peer out of windows and stand on apartment balconies to hear the name of Jesus ring out intermittently with shouts of “Hallelujah” and “Thank you Jesus!”  Led by Dr. (Bishop) Kenneth Hill, the church family put their words into action praying towards their community. “This church belongs to God and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it,” declared the Pastor. We come against violence of any kind; we come against murders; we are asking God for a hedge of protection and security around this community, he said.

Pastor Jo Ann Shaw, interim pastor of the College Park Church of God, reports that on a recent Wednesday night one person was filled with the Holy Spirit in a mid-week Bible Study.
