Special Recognition:
  • Pastor Chris Lockemy and Epic Church of God have received some exciting press recently.  The church has caught some attention in the community as well as the rest of the city for their recent innovative advertising campaign. A noteworthy achievement is the Gold and Silver ADDY Awards by the Advertising Association of Baltimore.  The 34th Annual ADDY Awards show celebrates the region’s best creative work in advertising, marketing and communications.  The GOLD ADDY: Postcard Campaign, Collateral Material  -  Special Events Materials Campaign and the SILVER ADDY:  Newspaper Advertising Campaign, Newspaper  -  Campaign Black & White.  In addition to these awards EPIC was also mentioned in a recent article in the city paper, The Paper. When it noticed a trend of emerging churches, they decided to inquire about some of these new churches and how they plan to reach the same audience as the paper but for religious purposes.   This is a significant accomplishment.  Special congratulations to Pastor Chris  for being innovative in reaching those who have been “untouchable”.
